Uranus

So today Liz and I did the chart of a boy. Because we're hippies like this. Upon me discussing the chart with her we realized that he has Uranus in the 5th house, aka the house of pleasure. Internet, there is nothing funnier than having Uranus in your pleasure house.

The conversation went something like this:

Me: Uranus dictates his pleasure.

Her: Uranus is opposed to mine, meaning Uranus brings me no happiness.

Me: Have you discussed Uranus with him? And how it's not bringing you pleasure at the moment?

This went on for, oh, 90 minutes. There were tears of laughter. And this is why I love astrology.

LOL. Uranus is definately the funniest planet.

I notice that the people on TV have started pronouncing it "urine-us" and I find this wrong. It is "your-anus" and they should be forced to pronounce it that way to please my jr high sense of humor.

An ex girlfriend of mine used to tell me that I was "circling Pluto" when I would say something she deemed crazy or silly. I told her once that I'd "rather be circling Uranus". I felt it was hilarious, but she didn't think it was all that funny.

Probably the primary reason she's an ex. A good sense of humor is a must. : )
